Race Description
The Cardiff Half Marathon takes runners through the Welsh capital on a scenic route that highlights many of the city’s most recognizable landmarks. The race starts outside Cardiff Castle in the city center before runners head south past both the Principality Stadium and Cardiff City Stadium on the way toward the coastal town of Penarth. Runners then complete a loop around Roath Park Lake before heading back toward the city center. The race finishes with a grandstand finish in the Civic Centre. The course is predominantly flat and fast, featuring approximately 81 meters of total elevation gain and a maximum climb of around 35 meters.
