Race Description
The Gold 43K Davos is a mountain marathon that takes place in Davos in the Swiss Alps. The race starts and finishes at the sports center in Davos. The course leads runners through the scenic Dischma Valley before climbing toward the Scaletta Pass. Along the route, participants run along alpine trails with views of the Scaletta Glacier and surrounding mountain landscapes. The trail continues along the panoramic ridge before reaching the Sertig Pass, the highest point of the race at 2,739 meters. From there the course descends steeply past Grüensee Lake toward the traditional alpine village of Sertig Dörfli. Runners then follow forest paths through larch and fir trees before returning to Davos. Known for its dramatic alpine scenery and challenging climbs, the race attracts trail runners from around the world. The Gold 43K Davos offers a demanding mountain marathon experience in the heart of the Swiss Alps.
