Zagreb Half Marathon

The Zagreb Spring Half Marathon goes through the wide boulevards and central districts of Croatia’s capital. The course begins and ends in front of the National and University Library in Zagreb, guiding runners through a mix of historic avenues, modern neighborhoods, and green urban spaces. The race is run over two laps of different lengths: a first loop of 16.1 km followed by a second 5 km loop before returning to the finish line. The route is generally flat, making it suitable for maintaining a steady rhythm throughout the race. Spectators gather along key sections of the course, particularly near the central areas, creating an encouraging atmosphere as participants approach the finish. The event welcomes a growing number of local and international runners with a race time limit of three hours.
