Race Description
The Verona Half Marathon takes runners through the historic streets of the northern Italian city, showcasing many of the landmarks that make Verona a UNESCO World Heritage site. The race starts and finishes in the historic center near Piazza Bra, close to the famous Arena di Verona, before guiding participants through a loop that explores both sides of the Adige River. The bridge crossings create a gently rolling profile, with approximately 90–100 meters of total elevation gain across the 21.1 kilometers. While the historic center features narrower streets, other sections run along wider boulevards and riverside roads that allow runners to maintain a steady pace.The race finishes back near Piazza Bra.
