Race Description
The Venice 21K starts under the medieval tower of Piazza Ferretto in Mestre, the course passes through the city's renovated central area, the M9 museum complex and Piazza XXVII Ottobre, before joining the traditional Venicemarathon route along the Salso Canal and the green avenues of San Giuliano Park. Runners then cross the Ponte della Libertà into the heart of Venice, where the extraordinary waterside route leads to the finish line at Riva Sette Martiri. The final 3 kilometres cross 14 of Venice's canal bridges. The race is held on the same day as the full Wizz Air Venice Marathon.
