Race Description
The Singapore Half Marathon, part of the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon, takes runners on a scenic tour through the city’s downtown district and along the waterfront of Marina Bay. The race starts at the F1 Pit Building on Republic Boulevard, a location closely associated with Singapore’s Formula One Grand Prix, before heading out onto the city’s major roads. The course loops around the stadium precinct before returning toward the Marina Bay area. The terrain is extremely flat, typical of Singapore’s coastal roads, with only small elevation changes from bridges and highway ramps. Long straight avenues along the waterfront. The race finishes at The Padang, a historic field in the city center surrounded by colonial-era landmarks. The combination of waterfront scenery, modern skyline views, and iconic landmarks creates one of the most distinctive urban half marathon routes in Southeast Asia.
