Race Description
The Seattle Half Marathon is a scenic, challenging, and iconic Pacific Northwest race. Starting and finishing in the heart of Seattle, the course is defined by its beautiful but demanding terrain, which winds through historic city neighborhoods, along the shores of Lake Washington, and across the dramatic, expansive deck of the I-90 floating bridge. The route is notoriously hilly, featuring several sustained ascents and descents that require disciplined pacing, particularly in the later miles. Runners are rewarded with panoramic views of the Seattle skyline, the Olympic and Cascade mountains, and the unique experience of running over one of the world's longest floating bridges.
