Race Description
The Sparkasse Salzburg Half Marathon starts in the heart of Salzburg on the Staatsbrücke, the course follows the River Salzach south towards the countryside, passing the three-kilometre-long Hellbrunner Allee and the courtyard of the world-famous Hellbrunn Palace, before returning through the city past the Mirabell Palace and across the Staatsbrücke with views of the UNESCO World Heritage old town. The finish straight offers an exclusive view of the Hohensalzburg Fortress, the most visited sight in Salzburg. The flat, officially measured course takes runners past many of Salzburg's most iconic landmarks, allowing participants to experience the city's historic charm and stunning Alpine backdrop with every stride.
