Race Description
A flagship event in the American West, this race starts at the Olympic Legacy Bridge near the University of Utah and winds down from the foothills toward the downtown finish line. Runners are treated to spectacular, close-up views of the snow-capped Wasatch Mountains. While it is a "net-downhill" course, it is not purely flat; it features a rolling middle section through residential neighborhoods before dropping into the city, requiring smart pacing despite the overall descent.
