Race Description
The Royal Parks Half Marathon is London’s original half marathon and one of the city’s most scenic races, taking runners through central London and four of its most famous green spaces. The race starts in Hyde Park and follows a single-loop course on closed roads that run past Buckingham Palace, Horse Guards Parade, Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, and Kensington Palace, combining historic streets with stretches through London’s royal parkland. The route is generally flat with gentle undulations, featuring approximately 95 meters of total elevation gain. The race finishes in Kensington Gardens, where runners cross the line with the Royal Albert Hall and the Albert Memorial as the backdrop.
