Rimi Riga Half Marathon

The Riga Half Marathon runs through the historic center of Latvia’s capital and along the banks of the Daugava River. The race typically begins near central Riga and quickly moves onto wide boulevards leading toward the riverfront. Runners cross one of the city’s bridges over the Daugava, offering views of Riga’s skyline and church towers before returning toward the city center. The course continues through several districts and near the edges of the UNESCO-listed Old Town. The terrain is largely flat with long straight sections that make pacing relatively straightforward across the 21.1 kilometers. Waterfront roads and open boulevards provide wide running space for participants. The route offers a balanced mix of historic scenery and modern city streets.
