Race Description
The Reading Half Marathon is one of the most popular half marathons in southern England, attracting a large field of runners each year. The course runs through the town center and surrounding residential areas before passing through the grounds of the University of Reading. The route features a mix of flat sections and rolling terrain. One of the most distinctive parts of the race is the finish inside the Madejski Stadium, where runners enter the arena and complete the final meters on the stadium floor. Crowds line much of the course and gather in the stadium to cheer the finishers. Many runners choose this race for its welcoming atmosphere and memorable finish.
