Race Description
The Generali Prague Half Marathon starts and finishes on Jan Palach Square near the Rudolfinum in the historic Josefov district, guiding runners through the heart of Prague and along the banks of the Vltava River. The looped course crosses four city bridges and offers breathtaking views of the river, historic buildings, and Prague’s iconic skyline, including a memorable checkpoint near the Charles Bridge. Runners follow the Vltava south before making an east-to-west loop past Folimanka Park, then cross to the west bank over Palacký Bridge. The route continues south along Strakonická Road before turning back north along the river and crossing the Legií Bridge around the halfway point. From there, the course traces a large loop through the northern part of the city center before returning to the Rudolfinum for the finish. The route is mostly flat, with only gentle elevation changes between riverbanks and city streets.
