Race Description
The Perth Running Festival Half Marathon offers runners a scenic course along the banks of the Swan River in Western Australia’s capital. The race starts and finishes at Optus Stadium. Early in the race, runners head west along the river toward the city, around the halfway point, the course loops near the Elizabeth Quay and Perth city center before returning east along the river. Runners then pass Heirisson Island and follow the riverbank back toward the stadium precinct. The route is considered fast and mostly flat, with around 118 meters of total elevation gain, featuring gentle rolling sections but no major climbs. The race concludes inside Optus Stadium, where runners complete the final meters in a unique stadium finish.
