Race Description
Run in tandem with the full marathon, the Palermo Half Marathon offers a gorgeous, single-lap tour of Sicily’s historic capital. The route departs from the city center, taking runners up the wide avenues of Viale della Libertà and through the lush, shaded expanses of Parco della Favorita. As runners weave back through the ancient heart of Palermo, they are treated to breathtaking UNESCO World Heritage architecture, passing iconic landmarks like the Quattro Canti baroque square and the grand Palazzo dei Normanni (Royal Palace). Known for its mild Mediterranean autumn weather and warm "dolce vita" spectator support, it provides a culturally rich and highly scenic Italian racing experience.
