Munich Half Marathon

The Munich Half Marathon takes runners on a scenic route through the Bavarian capital, combining historic landmarks, central boulevards, and green park areas. The race starts and finishes at the Olympic Park, one of Munich’s most recognizable sporting venues, before guiding participants toward the heart of the city. From the start, runners head toward central Munich, passing several of the city’s notable districts and landmarks. The course leads through broad city streets and lively neighborhoods before reaching the turnaround point at Sendlinger Tor, a historic city gate. After the turnaround, the course heads back toward the north of the city, returning through central districts before finishing again in the Olympic Park. The terrain is relatively flat with rolling sections, with elevation gains of approximately 95 to 101 meters, creating mild changes in height but no major climbs.
