Race Description
The Generali ZAME Ljubljana Half Marathon starts on Slovenska cesta near Ajdovščina Square in central Ljubljana before heading north along Dunajska cesta and through residential neighborhoods in the Bežigrad area. The race finishes at Kongresni trg, one of Ljubljana’s most historic squares, surrounded by classical buildings and close to the Ljubljanica River. The course is largely flat and fast, making it suitable for consistent pacing. The elevation profile shows approximately 71 meters of total elevation gain, with only gentle undulations and no sustained climbs. The combination of central boulevards, residential districts, and nearby park areas creates a varied urban course that showcases both the historic center and the wider city of Ljubljana.
