Race Description
Leiden Half Marathon is a scenic race that celebrates the city's rich history, starting and finishing in the historic heart of Leiden. The route takes runners through the ancient university city, past iconic windmills, historic buildings, and out into the surrounding "Green Heart" (Groene Hart) of the Netherlands, featuring polders, canals, and picturesque Dutch villages. It is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful and character-filled races in the country.
