Race Description
The Jerusalem Half Marathon is widely recognized as one of the most challenging and scenic half marathons in the world. The course winds through the "Holy City," taking runners past 3,000 years of history, including the Knesset (parliament), the walls of the Old City, the Mount Scopus campus, and the Armenian Quarter. Because the city is built on hills and ridges, the race features constant, significant elevation changes that require serious preparation; it is a test of endurance rather than a "personal best" speed course.
