Race Description
The Björn Borg Helsinki Half Marathon is run along the beautiful streets and waterfronts of downtown Helsinki. The course takes runners past the iconic Helsinki Cathedral, Market Square and the picturesque Töölönlahti Bay, offering a diverse and engaging route through the Finnish capital. Starting and finishing at Ehrenströmintie in Meripuisto, the half marathon route passes through Katajanokka, Suvilahti, Vallilla and along Töölönlahti Bay before returning via the Baana urban cycling and running path. The cool Nordic climate in early June provides ideal running conditions, while the cheering crowds and well-organised aid stations enhance the experience. The race is part of the WeRunHelsinki series alongside the Helsinki10, Helsinki Trail Run and Helsinki Marathon, with package deals available across the series.
