Race Description
The AJ Bell Great Manchester Run Half Marathon, established in 2003, is a prominent annual road race through the vibrant city, starting on Portland Street and finishing on the iconic Deansgate. The course passes by two of the UK's most iconic football grounds,the Etihad Stadium and Old Trafford, as well as the Imperial War Museum North and Albert Square, with some of Manchester's most iconic streets closed off to vehicles for one day only. More than 100,000 spectators line the streets to support. The race is part of the wider AJ Bell Great Run Series and supports hundreds of charities through dedicated charity places.
