Race Description
The Edinburgh Half Marathon is one of the UK's largest and most popular half marathons, part of the Edinburgh Marathon Festival held each May in Scotland's capital. The fast and flat route is ideal for first-timers and PB-seekers alike. The point-to-point course heads out of Edinburgh city centre into East Lothian, passing through the historic streets of the Scottish capital before opening up into the coastal scenery of the Firth of Forth. Runners are treated to views of the sea and the East Lothian countryside as the gentle net-downhill course sweeps towards the finish in Musselburgh. The race includes the marathon, relay, 10K, 5K and a range of junior races.
