Race Description
The Dresden Half Marathon is a premier autumn road race known for its exceptionally fast and flat course. Starting near the Heinz-Steyer-Stadion, the route is a scenic "city tour" that winds through Dresden’s historic heart, passing iconic landmarks like the Frauenkirche, Zwinger Palace, and the Semper Opera House. Runners traverse broad boulevards and the picturesque banks of the Elbe River. The course is almost entirely paved, featuring a maximum elevation difference of only 20 meters, making it an ideal choice for runners aiming to secure a personal best while enjoying a vibrant atmosphere of Baroque architecture and enthusiastic local support.
