Budapest Half Marathon

The Budapest Half Marathon follows a scenic route along both sides of the Danube River. The race typically begins near the city center before heading toward the riverbanks and crossing several historic bridges. Runners pass landmarks such as the Hungarian Parliament Building and sections of the Buda riverfront before returning to the Pest side of the city. The bridges introduce a few moderate climbs and descents, but the overall course remains relatively flat. Long stretches along the Danube provide open views of the city skyline and allow runners to maintain a steady pace across the 21.1 kilometers. The combination of river scenery, historic architecture, and wide boulevards makes the race one of the most visually striking urban half marathons in Central Europe.
