Race Description
The Bordeaux Half Marathon (Matmut Semi de Bordeaux) takes runners through the historic streets of the French wine capital and along the banks of the Garonne River. The race starts at 9:00 AM near the Public Garden on Cours de Verdun, in the heart of Bordeaux, before guiding participants through several districts of the city. The terrain is very flat, typical of the Bordeaux region. Wide boulevards and long riverside avenues provide extended straight sections that allow runners to maintain a steady pace throughout the race.In the final kilometers, the route returns toward the city center and the Garonne riverfront finish area, where spectators gather along the quays and central streets to cheer runners across the line.
