Race Description
The Big Five Half Marathon is a truly unique trail-running experience held within the Entabeni Game Reserve in South Africa. The course winds through the African savannah, where runners compete in an unfenced reserve alongside wildlife like elephants, rhinos, and lions. It is widely considered one of the world's most physically demanding and distinctive races, characterized by its "no barriers" approach to nature and challenging terrain, which includes stretches of deep, loose sand and steep inclines.
