Race Description
The Generali Berlin Half Marathon takes participants across the German capital on a course with a low elevation profile, passing through broad avenues and several of Berlin’s most recognizable landmarks. Starting with a view of the Victory Column, the route guides runners through central districts and historic areas before finishing at the iconic Brandenburg Gate. Long, straight sections allow runners to maintain a consistent pace, making the course widely regarded as fast and ideal for strong performances. Throughout the race, around 40 bands, cheering points, and large crowds line the streets, creating an energetic and atmospheric setting from start to finish. With its flat course, excellent organization, and the opportunity to run through the heart of Germany’s capital, the event has become a favorite destination for runners from around the world.
