Race Description
The Bangkok Half Marathon is a unique urban race that typically starts in the early morning (often shortly after midnight) to beat the tropical humidity. Starting and finishing at the iconic Royal Grand Palace, the course takes runners on a grand tour of the city's most significant heritage sites, including the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, and the Democracy Monument. The route is almost entirely flat, with the only notable elevation changes being the ramps over bridges that cross the Chao Phraya River. It offers a rare opportunity to experience Bangkok's vibrant, traffic-free streets and illuminated historic architecture under the night sky.
