Amsterdam Half Marathon

The race starts near Stadionweg beside the Olympic Stadium, with runners soon heading through Churchilllaan and Rijnstraat before crossing the Utrechtse Bridge over the Amstel River. The course guides participants through parts of Amsterdam’s city center, passing several well-known landmarks and canals that reflect the city’s historic character. Runners experience a mix of wide avenues, riverside roads, and urban neighborhoods before returning toward the stadium. The terrain is extremely flat, typical of races in the Netherlands. The race concludes with runners entering the historic Olympic Stadium, where they complete the final meters on the track in front of spectators seated in the grandstand.
