Łódź Half Marathon

The PKO Wieczorny Półmaraton Łódź allows participants to run in the atmospheric night-time scenery of the city. The race starts and finishes on the grounds of the revitalised EC1 Łódź power station, now a centre for culture and science located next to Łódź Fabryczna railway station, whose industrial architecture creates one of the most spectacular finish areas in this part of Europe. The route passes through the most recognisable landmarks of Łódź, including the legendary Piotrkowska Street, one of the longest commercial streets in Europe, and the profile is designed to favour personal bests. The event combines sporting competition with the industrial history of Łódź, where the meeting point of industrial heritage and modernity gives the race its distinctive character.
