Race Description
The Wuxi Marathon is one of China’s most prestigious and sought-after road races, renowned for its stunning "cherry blossom season" timing and its status as a World Athletics Gold Label event. The course takes runners on a picturesque journey around the scenic Taihu Lake and Lihu Lake, blending modern urban architecture with tranquil waterside paths. Known for its exceptionally high demand—often receiving nearly half a million registration applications—the race is a favorite for both elite athletes chasing fast personal bests and amateur runners attracted by the beautiful, tree-lined route and the enthusiastic, city-wide support.
