Race Description
The Vancouver Marathon takes place in Vancouver, Canada, and is known for its scenic course along the city’s waterfront and through several parks and neighborhoods. The race begins in Queen Elizabeth Park before descending toward downtown Vancouver. Early kilometers include rolling terrain as runners pass through Cambie Street and along False Creek. The course then heads toward the Burrard Bridge and continues into Stanley Park, one of the highlights of the race, where runners follow the seawall with views of the Pacific Ocean and the North Shore Mountains. After leaving Stanley Park, the route continues through Kitsilano and along the waterfront before returning toward downtown. The race finishes in the city center near Coal Harbour, with strong crowd support along the final kilometers.
