Race Description
The Original Las Vegas Marathon starts and finishes at the M Resort on Las Vegas Boulevard South in Henderson, Nevada, following a paved bike path course just outside the city. The route is an out-and-back design, with runners completing two loops for the full marathon and one loop for the half marathon, and turnaround points clearly marked by colored flags. The elevation profile shows a gradual climb from the start at approximately 747 m to a high point of around 845 m near the middle of the course before descending back toward the finish at roughly the same elevation as the start. The course features one main climb in the middle rather than steep hills, creating a gently rolling profile that is manageable for both beginner and experienced runners.
