Race Description
The Surf City Marathon follows a coastal route through Huntington Beach, starting on Pacific Coast Highway before looping inland through Central Park and returning to the ocean. Runners continue north past the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve before heading back south. In the later stages, the course moves onto a beachfront path for approximately 13 km alongside the Pacific Ocean, including a narrower shared section, before returning to Pacific Coast Highway for the final stretch to the finish near the pier.
