Race Description
The Six Lakes Marathon takes place in the forested landscapes around Fjällnora near Uppsala, Sweden. The race starts and finishes at Fjällnora by Lake Trehörningen. The course guides runners through scenic woodland trails and small gravel roads while passing six lakes in the surrounding nature reserve. Participants run through quiet forests and lakeside paths that create a peaceful natural atmosphere throughout the race. Most of the route follows easy-to-run gravel tracks, with some sections of forest trail that include roots and uneven ground. The course features rolling hills but remains largely runnable. Aid stations are placed along the route and runners pass several lakes and beaches along the way. Known for its relaxed atmosphere and natural setting, the event attracts runners who enjoy nature-focused races. With forest scenery and lakeside views, the Six Lakes Marathon offers a unique outdoor running experience in Sweden.
