Race Description
The Santiago Marathon takes place in Santiago, Chile, and runs through several districts of the Chilean capital while offering views of the Andes Mountains. The race begins in the city center and moves through wide avenues and modern neighborhoods such as Providencia, Ñuñoa, and Las Condes. The course includes sections along major urban corridors and parks, combining central city streets with residential areas. Runners experience long gradual climbs and descents, particularly through the middle part of the race where the course rises toward the eastern districts before returning toward central Santiago. The finish is located near the city center, where large crowds gather along the final streets.
