Race Description
The San Antonio Marathon offers runners a tour through one of Texas’s most historic and culturally vibrant cities. The course starts in San Antonio at approximately 198 m elevation and finishes at around 199 m, creating a loop-style route through several districts of the city. Runners experience a mix of wide city streets and residential areas while passing landmarks that reflect San Antonio’s rich heritage and lively atmosphere. The course features rolling terrain throughout much of the middle section, with the highest points reaching around 248 m, while the lowest sections drop to about 189 m, giving the race a moderately hilly profile compared with flatter urban marathons.
