Race Description
The Prague Marathon takes place in Prague, Czech Republic, and is widely regarded as one of the most scenic marathons in Europe. The race starts in the historic Old Town Square and quickly brings runners across the Vltava River, offering views of landmarks such as Charles Bridge and Prague Castle. The course features multiple river crossings and long stretches along both banks of the Vltava, passing through areas such as Malá Strana and the city center. Runners experience a mix of historic streets and modern roads, with sections of cobblestones adding an extra challenge. The route is mostly flat with gentle undulations, making it accessible while still slightly technical in parts. The race finishes back in Old Town, surrounded by Prague’s iconic architecture.
