Race Description
The Palermo Marathon takes runners along the scenic Sicilian coastline and through the historic streets of Palermo. The course features a mix of seaside running and urban sections, with views of the Mediterranean and the city’s architectural landmarks. While parts of the route are flat and fast, the race includes a notable early climb followed by rolling terrain, before returning to flatter sections later on. The combination of coastal scenery, mild autumn conditions, and varied elevation makes it both visually appealing and moderately challenging.
