Race Description
The Melbourne Marathon takes place in Australia’s second-largest city and follows a looped course that showcases both the urban center and waterfront areas. The route starts near the Melbourne Cricket Ground and passes along wide city streets, parks, and sections of St Kilda Road before heading toward the bayside. Runners experience long, straight stretches that allow for consistent pacing, with the course returning to finish inside the MCG stadium.
