Race Description
The Kilimanjaro Marathon takes place in Moshi, Tanzania, at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro. The course runs through the town and surrounding rural areas, giving runners views of the mountain as well as local villages and countryside roads. The race is known for its warm climate and supportive local crowds, with sections that include gradual climbs and descents typical of the region’s terrain.
