Race Description
The Ibiza Marathon (Santa Eulària Ibiza Marathon) offers a scenic point-to-point race across the island of Ibiza in Spain. The course starts at the Port of Ibiza at an elevation of approximately 5 m and finishes by the sea in Santa Eulària des Riu at around 5 m, where runners cross the finish line along the waterfront at sunset. The route travels through four of the island’s five municipalities, combining coastal views with inland roads that pass through rural landscapes and Mediterranean countryside. The middle section of the race features gradual climbs and rolling terrain before the course descends toward the coast for the final kilometers. Known for its unique sunset finish and island scenery, the race has become one of Europe’s most distinctive destination marathons.
