Race Description
The Frankfurt Marathon takes place in Germany’s financial capital and follows a flat, circular course along both sides of the River Main. The race starts in the city center and passes through Frankfurt’s skyline district before heading into Sachsenhausen and toward the residential area of Höchst. The route then returns along Mainzer Landstrasse through the city center, finishing inside the Festhalle on a red carpet. The course is known for its smooth layout and fast conditions, with long, wide roads that allow for consistent pacing. Elevation changes are minimal, with only a small overall variation between the lowest and highest points across the entire distance.
