Race Description
The Detroit Marathon offers one of the most unique marathon courses in North America. The race includes an international route that crosses the Ambassador Bridge into Canada before returning to the United States through the Detroit–Windsor Tunnel. Runners experience views of the Detroit skyline, the Detroit River, and several historic districts along the way. The event is known for its excellent organization and enthusiastic crowds who line the streets throughout the race.
