Race Description
The Cork City Marathon takes place in southern Ireland and offers a scenic route through the city and its surrounding suburbs. Starting in the city center, runners follow the River Lee, passing through historic streets, residential neighborhoods, and green park areas. The course features a mix of flat sections and gentle rolling hills, with a few more noticeable climbs in the middle portion that can impact pacing. The later kilometers trend slightly flatter, allowing runners to maintain rhythm toward the finish back in the city center.
