Race Description
The Catania Marathon takes place on the eastern coast of Sicily beneath the imposing presence of Mount Etna, Europe’s tallest active volcano. The course runs through sections of the historic city and along scenic coastal roads overlooking the Ionian Sea. Participants experience views of volcanic landscapes, seaside promenades, and historic architecture along the route.
