he Maratón de Cali is a vibrant and highly festive road race held in Colombia's famous "Capital of Salsa." Starting and finishing at Carrera 42, the AIMS-certified and Boston-qualifying course takes runners through the city's most historic streets, offering panoramic views of majestic architecture and lively parks. True to its energetic culture, the event kicks off with an unforgettable start line featuring fireworks and live salsa dancers, backed by tremendous crowd support and excellent on-course security. While generally flat, the route provides enough rolling challenges to test endurance, offering an unparalleled blend of Colombian warmth, rhythm, and competitive racing.
