Race Description
The Brighton Marathon takes place in Brighton & Hove on the south coast of England. The course starts in Preston Park and runs through the city center before heading toward the seafront. Large sections of the race follow the coastal road along Brighton’s promenade, including stretches along Kingsway and Marine Parade, with views over the English Channel. The route also passes through areas such as Hove and Ovingdean before returning toward central Brighton. The race typically takes place in April, when temperatures are generally cool and maritime conditions can bring coastal winds along the exposed seafront sections.
