Race Description
The Auckland Marathon is New Zealand's premier marathon and a highly celebrated event on the Oceania running calendar. The spectacular point-to-point course begins in the seaside suburb of Devonport, guiding runners through the charming, rolling neighborhoods of the North Shore. The highlight of the race is an exclusive, once-a-year pedestrian crossing of the iconic Auckland Harbour Bridge, offering breathtaking, panoramic views of the city skyline and Waitematā Harbour. Following the bridge descent, the second half of the race is a fast, flat, out-and-back coastal run along Tamaki Drive, finishing to massive crowds and a vibrant festival atmosphere at Victoria Park in the heart of the city.
