Race Description
The Sparkasse 3-Länder-Marathon is a truly unique, cross-border event that offers an unforgettable tour around Lake Constance backed by a stunning Alpine panorama. The race begins at the picturesque harbor of Lindau in Germany, guiding runners through Austria and into Saint Margrethen, Switzerland, before making a final return to Austria. Along the way, participants run past historic monasteries and the spectacular floating stage of the Bregenzer Festspiele. It finishes to immense crowd support inside the stadium in Bregenz, making it one of the most memorable and scenic autumn marathons in Europe.
